Our wooden panels are available in sizes from 1200mm x 900mm through to 3000mm x 900mm and either with the battens flat (Flat) or side on (Batten). The Flat panels have an 8mm space between the battens and as such meet Australian Pool Compliance standards whereas our Batten panels offer a differing perspective dependant on the angle from which they are viewed.

Amongst our most popular items are our Merbau batten screens which we supply to Sydney, Melbourne and beyond. Merbau may not be as widely known as some other woods but it is gaining in popularity as its characteristics lend itself perfectly for exterior use. Merbau is a class 2 hardwood that is resistant to rotting and insect attack and consequently, with a low level of maintenance you can expect at least 25 years of service from your Merbau screen fence. Furthermore, the excellent strength and stability characteristics of this timber is perfectly suited to outdoor privacy screens.

As with most of our wooden screens, taking some preventative measures early on, such as oiling or sealing, can enhance the appearance of the wood and significantly add to its longevity. But if even that minimal amount of work is a hindrance to you, we can offer our recycled composite screens, constructed from sawdust and plastic, that require absolutely no maintenance whatsoever – and yet still look fabulous!

Whilst our timber screens are designed with outdoor use in mind, they are equally functional indoors too!
