Jabon is a plantation softwood that is fast growing and highly sustainable. It is not traditionally known for its durability properties.

This is why we run a fantastic H3 True core treatment through all of the battens which protects it from decay for 20 years when used externally.

It is incredibly light weight with a density similar to pine. It is all kiln dried and is finger joined for greater stability.

Our batten screens are constructed with 42mm battens running on edge and a spacing of 16mm between the battens with suitable supports to prevent the screens from twisting. Creating a modern screening aesthetic that provides a different look when looking at different angles.

These Batten screens use the 19mm side as the face, 42mm side as the depth with a 16mm gap. These sized panels are deemed non compliant for pool areas or 25% RES code requirements.
