FENCE & BATTEN SCREENS

Fence screens solve the problem where the existing fence is not quite doing the job. The neighbour built up, the fence line is too low, or one section has failed and the rest is fine.

Screens fix to the top of an existing fence to add height, replace a single damaged section without rebuilding the run, or extend an existing boundary where a full replacement is not worth the cost.

They also work as a fence in their own right. A batten screen fence gives a cleaner, more contemporary line than paling, with filtered light and airflow instead of a solid wall.

Batten profiles set the timber side on rather than face on, so the panel reads almost solid at an angle and opens up as you walk past it. That movement is why batten has become the default look on contemporary Melbourne builds. Every batten panel uses a 42mm x 19mm section with consistent spacing, so light filters through, air moves through, and the panel carries less wind load than a solid one of the same size.

Available in Merbau, Spotted gum, Silvertop Ash and Recycled Composite. Merbau is the best value hardwood in the range and the most popular batten we supply. Panels are made to order, 900mm wide, in heights from 1200mm to 3000mm.

These are screening panels, not certified pool barriers.
